Fullness of Life and Power

Father God put all things in subjection under the feet of Jesus, and gave Him as head over all things to the church which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully; nevertheless, you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

God’s love is total. It reaches every corner of our experience. It is wide – it covers the breadth of our own experience, and it reaches out to the whole world. God’s love is long – it continues every moment of our lives, past, present, and future. It is high – it rises to the heights of our celebration and elation. His love is deep – it reaches to the depths of discouragement, despair, and even death.

The “fullness of life and power” that God gives us comes from being united with Christ (Colossians 2: 9-10). It is by trusting Christ that we are united with him. “Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him.” Whether you are excited for the future, regretting the past, discouraged by the present, or filled with hope, remember that you can never be lost to God’s love (Rom. 8:38-39). May you experience the love of Christ, For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.

When we reach the unity in Christ, then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Know God’s love. Then you can trust Jesus, and your trust will cultivate your awareness of His Presence. And He will be more and more at home in your heart. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. (Ephesians 3:18) Accept the truth of God’s love, but do more than that. Ask to understand it, grasp it, feel it, experience it, and dive into its depths. God isn’t satisfied with our head knowledge, and neither are we. His love is meant to be fully encountered.

May the Lord bless you, and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and may God Himself give you His peace. May God open the windows of heaven and bless you with countless blessings. Let us walk in wisdom and knowledge, knowing, our heavenly Father has made a way where there seems to be no way. Let every victory that we accomplish be nothing more than a trophy for Our Fathers glory, that we may honor and magnify Him, the giver of life and of every good and perfect thing. In the Name of Jesus Christ I pray, ask and receive this blessing. Amen, Amen and Amen.
