New Life in the New Year

Novyj God God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

Be assured, that the Lord your God is with you. He shall shelter your spirit in His mighty house forever. Never need you fear, for He is even now your aid against all manner of trouble. Rejoice, therefore, in His love and power! Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. He will love you and bless you and increase your numbers. He will bless the fruit of your womb, the crops of your land–your grain, new wine and oil–the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10)

Ever will the Lord raise up His people from their troubles! Ever will He seek to heal their hurts! Ever will He redeem His people from wickedness! And ever will the Lord Almighty strengthen the resolve of His children that they might proclaim His mercies forever! Praise His name forever all you His people! Hallelujah!

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “I will give them an undivided heart” says the Lord “and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh”. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” Revelation 21:5

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Even though youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint (Isaiah 40:30-31). And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near (Hebrews 10:24-35).

Finally, remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. “Behold, I am doing a new thing” Says the Lord “now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Let the New year in your lives be new, do not look back, let the Old year pass away. Happy New Year!!!

Father, bless them and keep them; make Your face to shine upon them; be gracious unto them; let the supernatural windows of heaven be opened and pour out upon them the blessings and promises of God in measure they cannot contain. Establish them as the head and not the tail; that those who see them would know that their Father in heaven cares for His own and that His word is true. Let the promises of God become reality in their lives and put a shield of protection over them spiritually, physically and financially, rebuking the devour for their sake that they may walk in Your divine abundance as more than conquerors, in Christ Jesus, Amen.
