Renew Your Mind; You Are a Chosen Generation

IMG_0953 You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Therefore, do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. It is God’s will that you should be sanctified.

Sanctification is the “process of being made holy (God’s nature) resulting in a changed life-style for the believer” (Holman’s Bible Dictionary). In other words, Sanctification is simply the process of our selves (our being) being transformed to God’s nature and when this occurs then our life (actions) change. It is God’s will that my life (my very essence) is transformed to be and think like Him because when this occurs then my actions will accordingly follow suit.

When you came to accept Jesus, you were a sinner. Upon receiving Jesus Christ you became a saved sinner. But in order for you to walk as a son/daughter, you need to accept the Holy Spirit, and renew your mind in to the Kingdom, and live as a Son/Daughter. You need the Kingdom living mind set, Kingdom authority and uprightness. As a Son/Daughter, you are righteous, and if you sin, it is only a slip up. And though you may stumble, you will not fall, for the LORD upholds you with his hand.

When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, LORD, supported me. Psalm 94:18

Therefore, in order to renew your mind and begin to sanctify yourself, you need to understand who you are. We are lights in darkness, lights to this world. Your light will shine, and by your light you are to glorify God. You have been given the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. In Him is all the hid wisdom of ages, and in Him you are to abide. You are to be in the Father, and the Father is to be in you. You have been given the Holy Spirit, and He will fill you, if you choose so to accept. He will fill you to overflowing, you will be immersed, influenced and controlled by Him. He will lead you and guide you into all truth, truth that you will walk in in the name of Jesus Christ the savior.

Go and preach the Gospel. Proclaim liberty to the captives; set them free. Don’t judge; you do not decide or qualify people, you are to set them free so that the goodness of God can draw them to repentance. Jesus demonstrated the will of the father, he who has seen Jesus, has seen the father. Thus, he who sees you, has to see the Mercy of God, who is Jesus and His Grace.

The world is unprincipled. Everyone exalts themselves, and the rich and strong survive without Christ! The world doesn’t fight fair. But we don’t live or fight our battles that way—never have and never will. The tools of our trade aren’t for marketing or manipulation, but they are for demolishing that entire massively corrupt culture. We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. Our tools are ready at hand for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity. So renew your mind! Run in to the presence of God! Seek only His Face and Countenance! Seek His Voice! Be Christ-like!

  1. The word “like” is not strong enough to describe our reaction to this post. “Love” it, would be better.

  2. So agree wtih this post. Before I knew who I was in God my confidence was so low, but now, the authority just show up everywhere I go and it started with God showing me who I was in Him. He called us blameless, righteous, He sees us so high and it was so easy to begin to renew my mind once I knew who I was in Him. Thanks for sharing God bless.
