Birth Defect Healed

Three years ago Jamie gave birth to her second child, Audrey. The doctors were having a hard time keeping Audrey pink, so they took her to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. They determined that part of the baby’s heart was missing and that there were no major arteries flowing from the heart to the lungs.

Jamie Scott remembers how her mother introduced her to Andrew’s teachings. Her mother had said, “He explains things so simply. The Bible really comes to life.” That was enough information to pique Jamie’s interest, and she went online to awmi.net and checked for herself. She was astounded at what she was able to read and learn on the website, and immediately ordered some books and teaching CDs.

Jamie was raised in church, yet her understanding of God was limited; she had many unanswered questions about how to relate to God. One morning, Jamie sat down and began to read Andrew’s, True Nature of God. As she read, she realized that the scriptural teaching in the book answered all of her questions. “My life changed. I was hooked,” Jamie said. From that point, Jamie began an on-going process of developing a deeper relationship with her Heavenly Father.

Following a normal pregnancy, Jamie gave birth to her second child, Audrey. At first glance the baby appeared to be perfectly healthy, and she and her husband, Tom were excited to have a baby girl. The doctors however, were having a hard time keeping Audrey pink, so they took her to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). There, the doctors determined that part of the baby’s heart was missing and that there were no major arteries flowing from the heart to the lungs. The baby was then moved to a different hospital in the city known for its outstanding cardiac care.

Jamie remembers an anger rising up on the inside of her and she felt the Holy Spirit remind her of what she had learned from Andrew’s teaching. At the next opportunity she had to see baby Audrey, she laid her hands on her and commanded Audrey’s heart to be there, and spoke 1 Peter 2:24 over her, “…By whose stripes you were healed.” Even though she was looking at her tiny, pale baby, wired from head to toe, Jamie felt a peace come over her as she prayed.

  1. Bless you, brother, for posting these powerful testimonies; our God is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals you. God has always wanted His people to come to Him for their healing, but we are a worldly bunch and we mistakenly choose the expensive route of modern medicine first. I AM A PHYSICIAN set on fire for our Lord Jesus Christ, who has been called out of the lucrative practice of medicine, to whom God subsequently opened up His word on the cause and eradication of disease (not disease management and treatment, mind you, as modern medicine offers, but eradication). During Passion Week to Pentecost last year He led me to write a Bible study addressing key Scriptures about dis-ease, entitled “Looking Into God’s Word on the Cause and Eradication of Disease.” This year He led me to create a blog-site in order that this study and other writings He has led me to write be shared for free (what is freely received is to be freely given). Visit thelordiswithus.com – the link to the Bible study is provided on the Home Page. I pray that those the Lord has prepared to accept and believe His truth on this vital matter will read/study it and BE HEALED, then testify of Christ our Healer to others, for His glory. Amen.

The Lord blessed you sister, and the Lord keeps you, and the Lord makes His face to shine upon you, and the Lord is gracious unto you and gives you His peace. May you demonstrate mercy to those who need it most; may you demonstrate the love of Christ to those who search for it desperately; may God make a way for you where there seems to be no way, and may He give to you the provision of Abraham that you shall be blessed exceedingly, abundantly, above your capacity to contain it and that the blessing be extended to your children and to your children’s children. In Jesus’ name, receive this blessing. Thank you for your blessing, amen!

      • Brother, I am dumbfounded by that blessing… I cannot just “like” it – I must reply! By the grace of God, I receive it, and rejoice exceedingly with you in Christ our Life, our Provision, our Means… What a blessing you are already; now go forth in a greater apprehension of His resurrection power, for His glory. Amen.

  2. Reblogged this on The Lord Is With Us and commented:
With great joy I share this beautiful testimony of the healing of a serious congenital heart defect in a newborn SIMPLY BY THE MOTHER’S KNOWLEDGE OF GOD’S WORD, HER FAITH IN CHRIST AND WHAT HE HAS ACCOMPLISHED ON OUR BEHALF, AND THEN PRAYING/WALKING IT OUT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT. Praise God, He is our Jehovah Rapha – the Lord who heals you (Exodus 15:26). I pray that you receive this powerful testimony, and that you be moved to delve into studying God’s word on the cause and eradication of disease for yourself (see Bible study on this subject on this blog site when the Lord so leads you!). – deanna

  3. Thank you Rus for sharing about our God of the impossible through this wonderful Story showing His Love and Compassion. I too have been healed Miraculously much more than once in the past and just recently too. I also give Thanks for the other tools God uses like Jesus and Paul did, all good things come from God and Healing is good. He is indeed the only Healer regardless of what tools He uses like Doctors, Medicine and natural remedies but He also heals us emotionally and Mentally too, many have been abused in life and have suffered hardship but I believe He helps us more than we know or can even imagine and protects us from danger too, can we ever stop Thanking Him.

Christian Love in our Unity in Christ Jesus – Anne.
