The Crown of Victory

screenshot_2016-08-29-22-40-38-1.pngAs we read The parable of the Ten Virgins, I want you to take notice of the word “watch”. It is a militaristic word. Literally, it means to look at or observe attentively, typically over a period of time. Jesus wants us to stand guard; To watch over ourselves, the church and those entrusted to us in order to keep them and us from being damaged, robbed, or injured. He wants us to be a sentinel, or in biblical terms, a watchman, who stands in the gap.

Recently, a dear sister shared her dream with a group of people, in which I was as well. In this dream she is watching a bride prepared to walk to meet her groom. Her court is doing the final touches on her. As she steps forward to walk, they start to fix her diadem; the bride is impatient, but the diadem needs a fixing. A crown, or diadem prognosticates change of mode in the habit of one’s or in this case the churches life, likewise, it signifies a change into a different level of awareness, victory over death and a recognition of status. In all of history, a crown represents the image of the kingdom, in all of its glory, riches and beauty. The king would adorn his bride in the most decorative state, that the Kingdom would or could afford, thus saying, all that is mine, is yours. I believe, that Jesus wants us to conform to him, we were created in his image, thus we need to become his image.
Today, we have to make a decision; a decision to wear a crown given to us to be His bride. However, decisions are irreversible. Thus, we have to make a conscience and intentional step to follow only Him. If God is intentional, then we have to be as well. We can’t afford to listen to people, therefore we can only listen to Jesus. But it starts at His feet, as Mary has shown us. Rest at His feet. When you know how to rest, you know how to receive under pressure. Likewise, when we are at peace, then we place the enemy under pressure. If we are proactive at receiving this peace, then we place the enemy on the reactive. Albeit, this peace only comes from a formed relationship with God. It comes from rhythm of a relationship, then He Himself teaches us how to take territories in our mind, heart and relieves us from pressure to do anything on our own.

When we are in rest, you pause your circumstances, thus you see them with a majestic/militaristic mindset. So it is us taking control of our circumstances where we start to demonstrate Christ like behavior. We start to partner with God, we become co-inheritors with Jesus. Furthermore, when we start taking territories, sometimes they are circumstances as well, we can impart territories by laying on of hands on to those who are still in the learning process.

Dear friends, we have to change our mind and identity to His. Remember, God created Man in His image, thus now, we have to conform to His image. But to do so, we need to change our Perception, mindset and language. So, when God speaks to us in any form, or even circumstance, we need to ask Him “what does it mean for me?”; furthermore, what I must do, who do I need to become? Then partner in the upgrade of the elements of identity. Rejoice in the circumstance for the lessons learned. Gods has an image of you which he is forming you to occupy the space in circumstances. Remember the story of Jesus walking on water, it starts at the bottom of His father’s feet. From there he observes the circumstances of His followers, then he walks on those circumstances. God has an image of you, do you believe this image, are you ready to partner with Him.

Focus on Jesus, enjoy becoming like Him, Rejoice in the Lord. Give thanks for all circumstances. You Don’t have to mean it at first. Give thanks, until you become thanks. Until you are blessing Him. Until you are partnered with Him Be watchful. be on guard. The key is to rest in Him.

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God; Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who is victorious will not be hurt at all by the second death. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it. To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations— that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’—just as I have received authority from my Father. I will also give that one the morning star. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.

People, there is no active endurance unless one actually desires to accomplish something, and he has the -hope of good to come ¬from what he is enduring.

—There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God [did] from his. (Hebrews 4:9-10)

Our gracious Father offers His children the beautiful promise of complete rest in Him. The author here makes an earnest plea to the recipient of the epistle–let us receive this abundant spiritual life that God has made available to us. May we take strength in His eternal rest.

“Then Moses said to him, ‘If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.'” Exodus 33:15
And now may the Lord bless you and may the Lord keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you, giving you His peace. May you walk today in the confidence that you are a coinheritor with God.
Your yesterdays have been forgiven and your tomorrows have all been taken care of by the grace of a loving Father, who has all power in heaven and on earth. Be assured that when you call upon His name, He will answer…even before you finish your prayer. He’s just that close. Nothing is impossible to you.
May you discover the mind of Christ this week. Let your life be baptized with joy that is unspeakable; may God take the chisel of adversity and cause you to rise to a new level in the kingdom of God, for they that endure to the end, the same shall be saved.
Let God’s perfect plan in your life be accomplished because you are willing to walk through the fire and the water, for when you walk through the water, the water won’t drown you; when you walk through the fire, the fire won’t burn you, because the Lord is with you. There is nothing that cannot be accomplished in the authority of His name, for nothing is impossible to those that believe. May God bless you this week with blessings you cannot contain, in Jesus’ name.
Rejoice and be exceedingly glad. The King is coming! The King is coming! Heaven is just a heartbeat away! In Jesus’ name, rejoice and be exceedingly glad.

Amen
