If You Love Him…

"Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me." Ezekiel 3:17

“Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me.” Ezekiel 3:17

We as Christians have a distinct advantage over many people, the prophets of old, unbelievers of today, or even Christians who don’t know the will of God today; when it comes to facing decisions. We were created for a relationship with God, and in His image. Thus, when we learn to have a relationship with our Father, we will also know His way that is best for us, but we have infallible information about his priorities that will help us follow his plan. Likewise, we have the inspired Word of God as the foundation towards a relationship with Him. Also, he lets us know, how to reflect him in our lives, so as to glorify His Kingdom, Himself and us as well. He actually says, for all practical purposes, “This is my will for you.”

What I have come to know for sure in some of my experiences, is that we are to remain careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let our requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. For God, has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, love, and of a sound mind.

Those who believe in Christ Jesus are already blood-bought new creatures in Christ. “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation” (2 Corinthians 5:17). But now we must become what we are. “Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened” (1 Corinthians 5:7).  “You have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator” (Colossians 3:10). You have been made new in Christ; but you now need to put forth the effort to being renewed day by day. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, [now here comes the aim] that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love. Likewise, the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groaning’s which cannot be uttered. He does not call us servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but he called us his friends, for all that he has heard from our Father He has made known to you.

Recently I overheard a few Christians talking, they were talking about a newborn Christian who survived hell on earth and finally is living in a peaceful area, trying to start life anew. It has been said, “we are afraid to enter her house, for there is so much spiritual interaction in it. We don’t want those spirits to jump on us”.
People! Because He lives… I can face life. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. When He faced demons, they pleaded to leave, even if by pigs! Because he has given us his mind, because he made us in to His temples, because he lives in us, we are to be afraid for not a thing!

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” And now He is in us, so the authority is in us as well! Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that he has commanded you. He says, “surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” He also has told us to “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” In Mark 16:17-18 Jesus said, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name, shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover”.

Stop been faithless! You, are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Here is the Will of the Lord. “Is this not the fast-which I choose, to loosen the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free and break every yoke? “Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into the house; When you see the naked, to cover him; And not to hide yourself from your own flesh? …” Isaiah 58:6-7

In John 14: 15-21 Jesus Calls us out with a statement of love towards Him. “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
