Kingdom v. Capitalism This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away

The Word of God warns us that the prince of this world seeks to create just such a society. It will be the triumph of evil, which will be the end of the world. We can see how our community is splitting, with terms like tribalism becoming more prominent. In Church, the pulpit preaches secular patriotism, and members of congregations are offended by this member or that because of the affiliation. Our educational system decreased in the level of quality, while the basic instincts of a human are cultivated. Everything that has been declared unacceptable now is taking a new norm.

Conversely, this is evident in capitalistic countries, and if one is to study governments imitating capitalism, they too complain about the same subject. Unfortunately, capitalism is a system that multiplies sin and a network interested in the degradation of humanity by default. We can say that this view of capitalism is too pessimistic, but you must admit that it is not without foundation. The logic of pure capitalism, freed from all constraining factors, inevitably leads to the above consequences. And we can already see today that capitalism seeks to humanize man. Capitalism needs insatiable consumers, devoid of critical thinking. They strive to turn a person into a consumption machine, into a voracious beast of consumption, an animal guided by instincts, and not reason. This nature of motivation is quite adequate for the functioning of industrial production systems. It provides both a precise balance between the interests of classes and social groups and the continuous progress of material production.

People find it challenging to live, worried only when they are busy with external affairs that are beyond their control. In these cases, they anxiously ask themselves: what will I do? Will there be something? What will come of it? No matter how this or that happens? A consequence of anxiety to those who continuously care about what does not belong to them. In the end, what did he achieve with all this? Capitalism made sure that to surround its worker with some honors, allows some respect, and that, having become a boss, the servant was in charge of some actions. Do you not want to work hard to free yourself from all such worries and sleep peacefully, without fear and suffering? Know that such peace of mind does not go in vain.

We as Christians need to be wise and very careful, we live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil. But to have wisdom is to distinguish the spiritual from the material. Modern education does not teach on the knowledge of the spirit; the foundation of education is to familiarize students in the manipulation of material elements and to extinguish their physical needs; thus, to know does not mean to be educated.

On the contrary, a person who is busy with the fact that he depends on himself, and who believes his life in the work of self-improvement will not begin to disturb himself. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Do not allow capitalistic mindset, which could have been born in heads of materialism, rationalism, and atheism, and fallen beings. Forgive me for such directness, as most do not want to hear this, but want a pleasant, rich, and well-fed life.

Capitalism is organized egoism, which consciously and fundamentally denies the subordination of the economy to the highest principles of morality and religion; a capitalist is in the service of mammon. Such godless, unprincipled service to the golden calf, such as lust and self-interest, as nowadays, has never been preached and carried out in life. It is an economic system of production and distribution based on private property, universal legal equality, and freedom of enterprise. The main criterion for making financial decisions is the desire to increase capital to profit. The world of capital inevitably seeks to expel spirituality from its midst, isolate itself from divine norms, covenants, moral principles, and create a moral-ethical or new religious space convenient for enrichment. Capitalism inevitably establishes a new religion, new standards, and laws suitable for its advancement. However, this is not new, as we continuously see the worship of mammon in the Bible, in the form of the golden calf.

In the new worldview, there is no place for humanity, and therefore, in the logic of capitalism, it seeks maximum power over others. After all, the more power, the easier it is to enrich oneself: collect taxes, receive tribute, impose indemnities on the vanquished, introduce new taxes, take funds from the disenfranchised. The significance of a person under capitalism is determined only by the size of the bank account. People, by any means, accumulated vast wealth, become, as it were, the upper class. There is a selection of the most inhuman, heartless, devoid of love and compassion for others. And in the hands of just such people, money and power are concentrated. Ultimately, such people strive to create a slave system.

If by its spiritual nature, capitalism is mostly worship, then by its social significance for a social life, it is covered in crimes, and the history of capital is a sad, eerie tale of human heartlessness and selfishness. Unfortunately, if we study revolutions from the Upper class who has enslaved the people under different orders, we also see the clergy in it protecting and thinking about their property, paychecks not trying to build a just society. The clergy, who on the one hand preached Christ, never advocated justice. As a result, it turned out that the Church, in the earthly sense of the Word, walked in the wake of power, doing what the authorities offered it. And the authorities, unfortunately, absolutely did not understand what was happening, that capitalism was killing the Gospel and the idea of Kingdom of God.

Christians today need to have a good knowledge of biblical economic, judicial, and theological theories. The first, older generation of the Christians was, and current Christians in persecuted countries are theoretically founded. They crammed the Word of God, outlined and copied it by memory, argued, and checked each other. That was their strength- iron sharpening iron. For persecuted Christians, It helps them a lot. As they received the wisdom that comes from heaven in all purity, they were peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and sincere.

The second-generation, especially in capitalistic countries, is less prepared. People were busy with daily routines, careers, hobbies. Christianity was studied through brochures, pamphlets, and summaries. The following generation is brought up on feuilleton and newspaper articles. They do not have in-depth knowledge of the Word; they walk by hearsay and currently by shared quotes on mass media. Unfortunately, it can be said they walk in hunger, and are ready to devour anything that sounds spiritual. They need to receive digestible food. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field that are well-founded on His Word, walk the Word and are Wise in the Heavenly economy.

And finally, the antithesis to capitalism is 1 Corinthians 13:4-13;

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
